This year's Tatt Fest kicks off on Friday May 3rd. Prepare for an awesome weekend! -Tickets will be sold at the door.
Every year, we honor the excellence of the tattoos that are made at the event. These are the Best of Day/Show.
As per usual, we will put up an art work to be sold during a live auction in support of Berin, a charity aiding children and adolescents who have lost a parent or sibling. To place a bid, please send a message directly to FO Tatt Fest's fb. Your bid is anonymous until the final bid is placed.
Friday, May 3rd:
Doors open at 2 pm.

On the evening of May 3, FO Tatt Fest and OY invite you to a concert with the heavy metal band Hamferð!
Hamferð, the esteemed Faroese death-doom sextet, gained international acclaim with their third album "Támsins likam" in 2018. Five years later, their fourth LP "Men Guðs hond er sterk" showcases their growth, enriched by years of live performances and tight-knit camaraderie. Guitarist and producer Theodor Kapnas emphasizes a back-to-basics approach, recording live in the studio without modern tech shortcuts, resulting in an authentic, human sound reminiscent of classic rock legends. The band's commitment to collaboration and collective input is evident, reflecting their dedication to creating a unified musical vision. Inspired by a tragic 1915 whaling disaster in their native Faroe Islands, the album's narrative concept delves into the emotional impact of the event, connecting deeply with Hamferð's name, which refers to apparitions seen by loved ones of those lost at sea. The album's atmospheric closing track features recorded testimony from a survivor's 1950s radio interview, adding a poignant touch to this epic tale. With lyrics printed in both Faroese and English, Hamferð invites a global audience to experience their hauntingly beautiful and emotionally resonant music.

Son of Fortune embodies dusty rock 'n' roll and heartfelt ballads. Benjamin Petersen, known as Son of Fortune, is an outlaw rock 'n' roller with a purpose. His latest album "Voodoo Pop" was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, by professionals who've collaborated with Chris Stapleton and Jack White. Jambalaja selected the standout track "Sunday in Music City" as the song of the year in 2021. Now, Son of Fortune returns with new music. Catch his performance this Sunday at Føroya Tatt Fest for hung-over vibes and "sad bastard" songs, but also something uplifting.
